Jon Yablonski is a multi-disciplinary designer, speaker, writer, and digital creator based in the Detroit metro area. He is the creator of Laws of UX, a widely recognized resource that translates key psychology principles into practical design heuristics, and the author of Laws of UX: Using Psychology to Design Better Products & Services (O’Reilly Media, 2024).

Jon’s passion is designing digital tools that empower people and augment their abilities to achieve their goals. Throughout his career, he has applied this philosophy across a wide spectrum of challenges—from e-commerce platforms and mobile apps to internal products and HMI systems for state-of-the-art vehicle platforms.
